The Fourth Industrial Revolution is on and mankind is now moving towards an era of Fuzzy Logic – of Artificial Intelligence and the crossover of technologies across the boundaries separating the biological and machine worlds, integrating to provide surprises that we cannot even conceive of – surprises that are nearer to us that we can even comprehend. The Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC) has always remained in the very frontiers of change, helping even as the horizons of knowledge are expanded conducted a seminar on AI & ML to keep the students acquainted with the enormous changes that are taking place so that they may not only participate but also emerge as key protagonists, being the change that they wish to see in the world.
Prof Dilip Shah, the Dean of Student Affairs of BESC welcomed the faculty for the programme – Anilay Parekh and explained the thought behind the organisation of the event and how students can maximise their takeaway from the seminar which is about emerging technologies that are slated to become some of the most major employment generators in the times to come.
Concepts of Deep Learning and how computer aided intelligent “everything” from machines to networks are already the order of the day was explained to the students who were taken deep into the rabbit hole of emerging technologies, especially in the realm of AI.

On 22nd August 2016, a horde of students gathered at the Concept Hall to know the relevance of ancient wisdom in present era.The speaker, Dr. Gaurav Chandra Dutt (IPS),guided the students.He captured their attention by presenting the world scenario in front of them,slowly he moved to national scenario and finally he moved to individual.
The Departments of English and History, The Bhawanipur Education Society College, in collaboration with the Department of English, University of Calcutta, presented a two-day International Seminar on “Revisiting the World Wars: Historical and Cultural Representations” on the 16th & 17th December, 2014.
The BES College celebrated Teacher’s Day on 4th September, at the 6th Floor Auditorium, with great pomp and revelry. The programme was organized in three slots- Morning, Afternoon & Evening faculty members.
