The significance of placements for young, upcoming graduates cannot be overstated, as it plays a pivotal role in refining their professional courses. On December 18, 2023, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, The Bhawanipur Education Society College scheduled a placement drive on their campus, becoming a conduit for promising futures. Two esteemed institutions, Bhawanipur Education Society College and St. Xavier’s University Kolkata, actively participated in this event, seeking to secure positions as audit analysts for their aspiring graduates.
Several distinguished companies, including the notable BSR & Co, a member of the global KPMG network, participated in the placement drive. KPMG, recognized globally for its comprehensive professional services in audit, tax, and consulting, carried out its auditing endeavors in India through BSR & Co. In India, KPMG stands as one of the major accounting firms.
During the placement drive, the spotlight was on recruiting audit analysts, the hiring team had already taken a pre-placement meeting online on 16th December 2023 and then the process unfolded in three meticulous levels: a Group Discussion, followed by the first and final rounds of interviews. The Bhawanipur Education Society College, in particular, saw 31 students participating, with a commendable outcome of 8 students selected for the company. St. Xavier’s University Kolkata had 21 applicants, with 1 successful candidate.
In terms of overall participation, the placement drive attracted a substantial footfall from both institutions, highlighting the enthusiasm and eagerness of young future graduates. In conclusion, the placement drive at The Bhawanipur Education Society College proved to be a rewarding and constructive experience, fostering a bridge between aspiring graduates and esteemed companies in the professional realm.
