On 17th August, a packed auditorium of enthusiastic students gathered at the concept Hall of 6th Floor Auditorium, for a workshop on Alternative career options for commerce students. The programme started with the welcome address where the keynote speaker Mr. Aswini Bajaj and a delegation from ACCA were welcomed by Prof. Vijay Kothari.
The students were exhilarated by the speech of Aswini Bajaj, who is a CA, CS, CFA, FRM and he is pursuing his PhD. He mentioned various nuances of alternate career options, and he compared various courses and helped students understand the prudence of various options available to them. After the speech, students moved into a question and answer session, where queries of students were answered satisfactorily.
In the second part of the session, a delegation from ACCA, briefed us about the MoU signed between The Bhawanipur Education Society College and ACCA. The students were given details about the MOU whereby students could complete a dual degree in B.com and ACCA in three years. Over 100 Students registered to know more about the ACCA programme. The event was efficiently co-ordinated students Shashank Agarwal and Sougat Chowdhary and it was a great success.
