To build on the concept of inclusivity the Department of Education conducted a play titled ‘Ek Aur Beethoven’ for the students of Semester 1 and 3 on 19TH October, 2023 in the Concept Hall. The event was conceptualized by Mr. Palashh Chaturvedi, a theatre expert who involved the students by elucidating the concept of inclusivity and oneness.
The programme started off with an opening speech by Dr. Rekha Nariwal, followed by an articulation on inclusivity by Vice Principal Arts Prof. Debjani Ganguly and Prof. Dilip Shah, Dean and Rector. An introductory note highlighting the overview and concept of inclusivity was conveyed by Prof. Aishanya Tripathi, faculty, Department of Education as well. The play through ‘Ek Aur Beethoven’ stressed on overcoming controversial norms and practices by embracing and enhancing oneness and diversity. Through elaborate music and melody, the play highlighted our societal backlogs and left the young minds with thought-provoking questions.
Professor Sayandita Deb Roy , faculty, Department of Education delivered the vote of thanks followed by distribution of certificates and token of appreciation for the participants
