On 19 th February 2021 at 11:30 am on Zoom meetings, the webinar on Mental and Vedic Maths,
world’s fastest mental algebraic mathematic system was organised by the college. 63 students
were present in the webinar. The event was presented by the Prof. Dushyant Chaturvedi.
I have a question for you, ‘what is the square of 95?’. You can surely calculate it, but it will take
time not so if you have attended the webinar with the Vedic calculating system, you can do it in
seconds. Prof. Dushyant Chaturvedi gave the students 7 simple tricks to solve such problems.
After watching this webinar students could easily calculate the squares from 1 to 139 with speed
and accuracy. The students also learned an effective way to calculate any square root which is
formed with the digit 3, 6 and 9. In the webinar Prof. Dushyant Chaturvedi asked few questions
from the students which they answered well. In all it was very interactive and made even a math-
phobic student get closer to the subject.
The feedback revealed that students had a thrilling and exciting math learning experience and
wanted more such webinars on mental and Vedic Math’s. This session was introduced by Prof.
Minakshi Chaturvedi.
