On 31st March 2015, Prof. Sudip Mallik, senior advisor of NIESBUD (Ministry of MSME, GoI), visited the college from 8.30 am to 10.30 am.
During this period he interacted with about 60 students wherein he explained the need for entrepreneurship. He explained the Government’s initiative in this direction and distributed forms for the mapping of entrepreneurial attitude of the students.
In his interaction with Prof. Dilip Shah, he enthusiastically explained that his findings were very encouraging and he shall revert back with a feedback and the plan for skill development. He also invited the students and professors to the newly started MSME centre at Camac Street, Kolkata.
On 22nd August The Department of Sociology and The Environmental Development Committee in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organised a Webinar on ” Addressing Issues of Climate Change and Vector Borne Diseases like Dengue”.
