On 30th September 2016, Friday, Bulls Eye – the Stock Market Collective of BESC organised a seminar on ‘Your Guide to Stock Market Investment’ – with India Infoline. A large number of Bulls Eye members along with students from Commerce Plus attended the session with high enthusiasm even though it was a holiday.
Welcoming the guest speakers and students, Prof. Vijay Kothari outlined the importance of personal financial planning and investment. He expressed his desire to conduct more such sessions with expert faculties from the industry.
Mr. Joydeep Ghosh, AVP – India Infoline initiated the session by introducing his colleagues and the company. ‘I am genuinely happy to see a large number of young students having desire to learn about financial investment’ commented Mr. Joydeep.
The session was then conducted by Mr. Pritam Banerjee, Corporate Trainer (India Infoline) who with various examples and simple explanation impressed the young crowd to start early in the field of investment to reap the real power of ‘Compounding’. ‘Time-In’ rather ‘Timing’, is the fundamental rule to build wealth. One needs to be a long term investor rather a short term trader.
The students received booklet with tables and guidance to calculate investment amount matching their desired goals. Mr. Pritam also shared details of ‘You-Tube’ videos and books on investment learning.
The session ended with vote of thanks and felicitation of the guests.
