Objective of the event: This academic trip is indispensable for the purpose of semester 2 tutorial, which is an essential component of Calcutta University Examinations.The trip was organised to enable the students to have a comprehensive understanding of proceedings of West Bengal legislative assembly
Brief description of the event: The Department of Political Science organised an academic trip for the semester 2 Political Science Major students to the West Bengal Legislative Assembly on 21st April,2025. A total of 45 students accompanied by 4 teachers visited the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. The Public Relation Officers of the assembly explained to the students the proceedings of the assembly. The students also wrote a report on their visit on that day.
Outcome of the event: Students were immensely benefited from the academic trip as they got a detailed and comprehensive understanding of the proceedings of the state legislative assembly.
The Department of Computer Science organized ‘A One Day Heritage Exploring Field Trip Around Kolkata: The City of Joy’ for the students of semester VI on 10th March, 2022.
