Objective of the Event:
To highlight the importance of mother language in shaping identity, culture, and social consciousness, and to celebrate linguistic diversity.
Brief Description of the Event:
The programme was organised by the Department of Bengali at the Society Hall. It began with an inaugural song by Uttiya Chattopadhyay. Teachers from various departments presented in their respective mother languages. Mrs Trishna Basak delivered a lecture on the significance of mother language. Shankhya Acharya presented on the use of the Bengali language in advertisements. The event concluded with cultural performances by students.
Outcome of the Event:
The programme created awareness about linguistic diversity and reinforced the emotional and cultural significance of mother languages among students and faculty members.
