Objective of the event: To acquaint students with the format, structure, and requirements of the Calcutta University tutorial examination, to improve students’ writing skills, including clarity, coherence, and organization.
Brief description of the event: The Tutorial Workshop for Semester 4 and 2 students was conducted to enhance their skills in Report Writing, Assignment Writing, and PPT Presentation. Dr. Dona Ganguly explained how to structure a report, including introduction, methodology, results, and conclusion. The students understood the importance of clarity, coherence, and organization in report writing. Students were guided by Ms. Trisha Chatterjee and Mr. Abhilash Roy on how to approach assignment writing, including understanding the question, researching, and organizing their thoughts. They learned how to write clear and concise answers. Ms. SohiniChattopadhyay explained how to create effective PPT presentations, including designing slides, using visuals, and delivering presentations confidently.
Outcome of the event: The workshop was interactive, and students participated enthusiastically, sharing their experiences and learning from each other. The workshop was a valuable experience for the students, and it is expected that they will apply the skills they learned in their future academic pursuits.
