Practical life skills are considered crucial in today’s fast-paced world. To instill these skills and enhance the concept of CVAC course, the Department of Education: The Bhawanipur Education Society College hosted a transformative workshop titled “Value Yourself and Learning Life Skills” on June 12, 2024, for students of semester II Arts Stream. Dr. Rekha Nariwal inaugurated the session and felicitated the resource person, Ms. Saloni Priya, a renowned expert in psychological counselling and life skill training.
Ms. Saloni Priya’s dynamic approach and profound knowledge created an engaging and interactive learning environment that captivated all attendees. The event spanned two insightful sessions. Students from English, Political Science, JMC, Sociology, and History were present.
Ms. Priya covered a range of topics, including effective communication, time management, and emotional intelligence. She delved into the importance of self-esteem and self-respect, emphasizing how a positive self-image is crucial for personal and professional growth. Through a series of activities and reflective exercises, students were encouraged to recognize their unique strengths and capabilities. Both sessions were highly interactive and engaging.
Ms. Priya’s interventions were very enlightening. Her use of real-life examples and relatable anecdotes made the concepts easy to understand. The students were not just passive listeners but active participants, significantly enhancing their learning experience.
