(iii) Dr. Sandip Paul, College Whole Time Teacher, the Department of Chemistry, The Bhawanipur Education Society College.

6. No. of Participants: 12 students and 2 teachers from Uluberia College under the University Calcutta were part of this exchange programme.

7. Objective of the event: The Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC), Kolkata, conduct two practical sessions; Determination of CMC of a micelle from surface tension measurement using Tensiometer and Spectrophotometrical determination of λmax and 10Dq values of [Mn(acac)3] and [Fe(acac)3] complexes, based on the University of Calcutta Chemistry (Honours) CBCS curriculum.

8. Brief description of the event: The inauguration of the event had commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Pinki Saha Sardar, Vice Principal, Science, The Bhawanipur Education Society College. Dr. Sourav Das had conducted the practical class: Determination of CMC of a micelle from surface tension measurement using Tensiometer. Dr. Yeasin Sikdar and Dr. Sandip Paul had conducted the practical class: Spectrophotometrical determination of λmax and 10Dq values of [Mn(acac)3] and [Fe(acac)3] complexes.

9. Outcome of the event: A student exchange program for practical study enhances hands-on skills. It was a welcome experience for them and they benefited from it.
