• Dr. Shyamal Kumar Sarkar, Assistant Professor in Chemistry, Uluberia College.
6. No. of Participants: 10 students and 2 teachers from The Bhawanipur Education Society College under the University Calcutta were the part of this exchange programme.
7. Objective of the event: The Uluberia College, Howrah, had conducted practical sessions on: Qualitative analysis of inorganic salts based on the University of Calcutta Chemistry (Honours) CBCS curriculum.
8. Brief description of the event: Semester-6 students of the Department of Chemistry of The Bhawanipur Education Society College had visited the Department of Chemistry of Uluberia College as a part of Student Exchange Programme between the two colleges. Dr. Shyamal Kumar Sarkar had conducted the practical class: Qualitative analysis of inorganic salts. Students had performed the practical experiment under his guidance.
9. Outcome of the event: A student exchange program for practical study enhances hands-on skills. Students gathered remarkable experience and were highly benefited from this programme.
The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised for a girls’ picnic on 13th of January 2015, to Swami Narayan Mandir (Joka) and Palm Village Resort (Joka). A total of 50 girls went for the picnic accompanied by two teachers Prof. Meenakshi Chaturvedi and Prof. Urvi Shukla.
