“Acting is behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances.” On 20th November, The Bhawanipur College organised a workshop for the Enact collective – SPOTLIGHT, for the first-year students.
The workshop began with a bunch of around 50 students with our mentors Mr. Apratim Chatterjee, Mr. Palash Chaturvedi and Mr. Subham Singh who had an interesting and entertaining introductory session with the students.
The very talented performers Ms. Satakshi Nandy and Mr. Arron Targain also came to guide the students. The workshop was interesting. There were many interactive sessions like polka dots – walking in the manner of the particular design and rollovers etc. The workshop ended at 12noon. The students felt that such workshops are a great boost to their skill and should be held more often.
At 5:30pm on Monday the 4th April ’16, at the college turf, about 150 students along with staff members assembled for the opening of BFC Tournament. The evening started with handing over of gift hampers to the staff members in recognition of their services to the college.
The M. Com Department of Bhawanipur Education Society College conducted an industrial visit to the Britannia Factory situated at Taratala on 23rd March,2023. The bus departed at 11:30 am from the college and reached within fifteen minutes. The visit was carried out by Ms. Dipannita Chatterjee and Ms. Debalina Chattopadhyay and Mr. Sujay Samanta.
