The Department of English organized a UG Students’ Seminar on “Memoirs and Autobiographies”.
The event was held on 4th May, 2024, at the Concept Hall (6th floor) and was attended by undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of English.
Twenty nine students of UG semesters IV and VI presented papers at the seminar, and their presentations were assessed by three in-house judges. Twelve students won prizes, and all participants received certificates at the end of the event. The seminar continued from 10 am to 6.30 pm.
UG Students’ Seminar is a bi-annual effort by the Department of English in order to inculcate a climate of research for undergraduate students during the formative years of their higher education. This effort has also served as a platform for students to practise public speaking, hone their presentation skills and grow as socially and culturally aware individuals.
