Objective of the event: The objective of an Academic quiz is to create a stimulating and educational experience that tests participant’s knowledge, promotes learning, fosters critical thinking, and cultivates a passion for academic pursuits.
Brief description of the event: The Department of Political Science conducted an Academic Quiz for the Semester V Political Science Honours students of the department on 13.9.24.The proceedings of the quiz were conducted by Trisha Chatterjee, CWTT, Department of Political Science . Trisha Chatterjee explained the parameters of the quiz on which the students would be judged and awarded scores. The event awarded those individual students who answered questions of the quiz. Manu Kumar Gupta got the highest score and secured the first position followed by Sudeshna Jha who secured the second position.
Outcome of the event: The students highly appreciated the efforts of the department to conduct such a quiz that further enhanced their knowledge and critically answering skill. The event encouraged more active participation in classes through healthy competition among the groups.
