Objective of the event: To interact with the parents/guardians and discuss the performance of their wards and other related vital issues.
Brief description of the event: The Department of Political Science organised a Parent-Teacher Meeting on 9th June 2025, at Concept Hall, for the Semester II & IV Major students, to interact with the parents/guardians and discuss the performance of their wards, as well as several other academic and disciplinary matters.
Outcome of the event: The interaction was very satisfactory. The parents appreciated the efforts taken by the Department and shared valuable suggestions and feedback with the Department.
The NSS unit of the college organized a walk which was led by Mr. Rangan Dutta, a historian and heritage enthusiast. This walk was on 25thMarch 2015. It began at 7:15am, where 31 students were accompanied by Prof. Dilip Shah and Prof. Soumendra Laha.

On 22nd August 2016, a horde of students gathered at the Concept Hall to know the relevance of ancient wisdom in present era.The speaker, Dr. Gaurav Chandra Dutt (IPS),guided the students.He captured their attention by presenting the world scenario in front of them,slowly he moved to national scenario and finally he moved to individual.
The Street Play was held in the lawn in front of the Common Room. It was judged by Abhishek Bannerjee and Janardhan Ghosh. A total of five team had participated and each team consisted of eight to ten members. The topic allotted to them was Rape and accordingly the teams carried out their performances.
