The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised Fagun 2026 on 28th February 2026 at Jubilee Hall to celebrate the spirit of Holi while honouring the institution’s non-teaching staff for their dedication and contribution to the smooth functioning of the college.
The programme began at 2:30 p.m. with the anchors welcoming the gathering and setting the tone for the celebration. This was followed by an address by Prof. Dilip Shah, Rector and Dean of Student Affairs, who spoke about the essential role played by the non-teaching staff in supporting the everyday operations of the institution. He acknowledged their consistent efforts and expressed gratitude on behalf of the college.
The main highlight of the event was the felicitation of each staff member present. In a series of rounds, Prof. Dilip Shah invited each member one by one and recognised them for their valuable contribution to the smooth functioning of the college, starting with the senior-most member present.
The cultural programme began with a musical performance by the Crescendo Collective of the college, whose Hindi and Bengali songs added to the festive atmosphere. The celebration continued with a short interactive segment featuring games such as “Guess the Song” and “Passing the Parcel,” which brought a light and cheerful mood to the gathering.
The programme also included a theatrical performance by Enact, followed by a series of energetic dance performances by the Flames Collective. The Eastern Team, Bollywood Flames, and Western Flames each presented lively routines that added colour and excitement to the occasion.
The programme concluded with a floral shower on the staff, recreating the festive spirit of Holi with music and dance, and expressing heartfelt appreciation for their hard work and commitment.
