On the 28th of March 2025, The Department of Commerce (Morning) in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) successfully hosted a seminar on “Elements for Management Studies”. The event started at 10 A.M. and was attended by more than 300 students and 25 faculty members. The seminar aimed to provide valuable insights into strategic management, profile building, and a better understanding of IELTS and TOEFL.
The seminar commenced with a thought-provoking and informative speech by Prof. Dilip Shah, setting the tone for the insightful discussions that followed.
Session Highlights:-
The first session, titled “Strategic Management using case studies” had Prof. Anil Kumar Garag from Chanakya University delivering an engaging session on Strategic Management, utilizing case studies to illustrate key concepts.
The second session was held online, with the topic being “Basics of Profile Building”. Mr. Ramessh Misshra from the S. P. Jain Institute of Management (IMR) shared valuable expertise on Profile Building basics and provided students with practical advice on enhancing their professional profiles.
The third and last session began after a short tea break. In this session, Mr. Sayantan Ghosal and Mr. Soumyajit Bagchi from IDP Education presented a comprehensive comparative study of IELTS and TOEFL, equipping students with essential knowledge for their future academic pursuits.
Conclusion:-
The seminar was a resounding success, offering students and faculty a unique opportunity to engage with esteemed experts and expand their knowledge in critical areas of management studies.
