B.Sc (Hons)
Electronics

B.Sc. Honours in Electronics is a specialised major course for students who wish to learn the fundamentals and applications of electronics. This programme, which covers basic topics like analog and digital electronics, statistical and quantum mechanics, network analysis and electromagnetic theory provide a solid foundation to the intricacies of the subject. Whereas, the physics and application of semiconductor devices together with the skill enhancement papers on PSPICE, VHDL and MATLAB essentials prepare students for challenges in the electronics industry. On the other hand, fiber optics communication which has revolutionized long-haul telecommunication the world over is also a part of this curriculum with associated experimental presentation.
The generic subjects like physics, computer science and mathematics are offered as minor courses to aid in the process of vividly understanding the length and breadth of electronics. The compulsory value added courses and language classes equip students with good practical and communication skills.

The Department of Electronics basks in academic admiration for its rigorous curriculum and esteemed faculty dedicated to nurturing future electronics pioneers. Its reputation for academic excellence attracts the brightest minds, fostering an intellectually stimulating environment.
