Bhawanipur College welcomes Navratri with a Dhamaal
With the beginning of the Navratri season of 9 days, The Bhawanipur Education Society College geared up for a Dandiya/Garba raas, Dhamaal 2016 on October 1.
Consecutively, this was the third time, when the college organised Dhamaal in its very own college campus in a way to pay tribute to Maa Durga. This festive event was commenced by an aarti, as a way of starting the event traditionally. By this time, students were seen gathering around the stage in beautiful ethnic wear. Very soon, the mood got a boost with some Garba followed by Sanero and Dandiya raas. The entire campus was lit with colours and joy. Very soon, the dj took over the evening making all the Be –ites dance to its beats. The college atmosphere seemed to take a smooth turn as the different dance styles changed chronologically.
Towards the end, the college also arranged a token of appreciation for the best dandiya dancer . Therefore, with this fine blend of cultural and western music, the evening was called off quite joyously. Thus, on behalf of all the students, special thanks to the teachers, students, management as well as the college staff for organising this lovely event.
