BESC (NSS UNIT) organises AMRI – Walkathon

The NSS unit of The Bhawanipur Education Society College under the guidance of NSS Programme officer Prof. Divyesh Shah participated in the AMRI – walkathon. This event was in association with AMRI Hospital.
The objective was to walk marathon in order to spread health awareness among local communities and to fight against the increasing heart attack. Therefore, many prominent schools and colleges along with many local Civilians walked from Deshopriyo Park to Vivekanand Park for the same. In order to enhance the purpose and meaning of the event, people were made to wear caps and t-shirt with slogans written on them. Thus, this event witnessed a large number of people to support the event.
Therefore, it was an immense joy for the Be-ites to be able to make use of such a golden opportunity and for making the movement such a memorable one. Special thanks to our College Dean, Prof. Dilip Shah, for his moral support in the event. Also, I am extremely grateful to the volunteers for their hard work in the same.
