National Service Scheme Unit of The Bhawanipur College along with ivolunteer had organised a unique drive to serve those who serve us regularly. The idea was to bring a smile on the face of underprivileged by offering them sandwiches prepared by the NSS volunteers. Around 35 NSS volunteers gathered in the college campus to prepare the sandwiches and distributed it among the needy ones as a gesture of bringing a smile on their face. To serve the NSS motto ‘Not Me But You’ the seva sandwich project was a perfect platform. The project was coordinated by NSS programme officer Prof. Divyesh Shah and is actively guided by Prof. Dilip Shah. NSS volunteers Shrenik Chandalia, Darshdeepsingh Walia executed the whole project efficiently.
The concept was an idea of Daan Utsav committee and was acted upon at a very brief notice. Daan Utsav starts from 2nd Oct to 8th Oct ’16 and is a silent revolution to offer help to the needy.
At the end of the programme the participants felt self esteem and it is a noble feeling of giving back to society.
