The greatest writer of all times, ‘Leo Tolstoy’ was given a heart warming tribute on 27th August at the Library session organised by the AIM collective.
The event started off with a welcome address followed with an ode from his literary works.Students recited and presented the eminent works and life events of Leo Tolstoy. The first speaker was VaibhavBhatterwho vividly presented and deciphered the events of Tolstoy’s life to everyone. This was followed up by DeepikaRathiwho very beautifully presented one of the short stories of Tolstoy- “Evil allures but good endures”. One of the greatest stories of Tolstoy-“How much Land does a man require?”Wasbrought to light by Tania Agarwal. One of the eminent literary works ofTolstoy,“The Three Questions” was recited by SonaliSurana.
VishakhaAgarwal presented a marvellous literary piece-“God sees the Truth, but waits”. This was followed up with the recitation of Poetry by the AIM student coordinator,BharatiKhairajni. The event was also witnessed by an ex-Beite, Ms.PalakChokani. Besides this, the event was also enlightened with the presence of Prof. Kaushik Banerjeeand Mr.DevrajLahiri. The event ended with the recitation of an inspiring literary work by the AIM Collective teacher coordinator –Prof.Mohit Jain.
With the year coming to an end BESC witnessed yet another successful library event where the students and honorable teachers had gathered to pay a tribute to an evergreen music legend Frank Sinatra.
