The Bhawanipur Education Society College, Department of Bengali, organised an IQAC-approved Pre-Sarodiya cultural event, Agomoni, on 13th September 2025 at the Jubilee Hall. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Sandip Dan and Dr. Subhobroto Ganguly with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the triumph of light over darkness. Prof. Debjani Ganguly delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the afternoon with her warm words. The event was seamlessly anchored by Dr. Mili Samaddar, who guided the audience through the various segments with grace and enthusiasm.
The cultural performances were a vibrant blend of tradition and creativity. Faculty members, academic staff, students, and distinguished singers presented an array of performances, including songs, dances, recitations, and Shruti Natok. Each item was dedicated to welcoming the homecoming of Maa Durga, reflecting the essence of devotion, festivity, and cultural pride. The performances highlighted not only the talent of the participants but also the spirit of collaboration and community within the college.
The Jubilee Hall resonated with applause and appreciation as every performance captivated the audience. Guests, participants, and attendees unanimously praised the event, acknowledging the Department of Bengali’s efforts in keeping alive the cultural ethos of Bengal. The programme concluded on a note of joy and anticipation for the festive season ahead, leaving everyone with a sense of unity and celebration.
