Transition from formal school life to college can prove to be a complete life-changing event. It is undoubtedly the most challenging part of every student’s life, and we all feel anxious and giddy with excitement at the same time. So, to help the students get acquainted and comfortable with college life, the Department of Business Administration of the Bhawanipur Education Society College conducted ONBOARDING 2025 for the 2025 – 2029 Batch on the 02nd of August 2025.
Amrita Thakar, Student of 3rd Year, and Priya Kalahasthy , Student of 2nd Year BBA were the emcees of the event. They welcomed the new batch warmly to the BBA BESC family. Then they invited the Teacher in Charge Dr. Subhabrata Ganguly, Rector and Dean of Student Affairs Prof. Dilip Shah, Course Coordinator of the BBA Department Dr. Tridib Sengupta and Mr. Inderjit Singh Bhandari to begin the program with the auspicious ceremony of lighting the lamp.
After the ceremony, Dr. Subhabrata Ganguly- Teacher in Charge, was invited was invited to the podium. He encouraged the new batch and welcomed them to their new life at college.
After Dr. Ganguly, Prof. Dilip Shah, Rector and Dean of student Affairs, was invited on stage and he highlighted the college’s numerous collectives such as FLAMES, CRESCENDO, NCC, Leadership Training as well as the various life-changing chances which the college offers.
After the Dean’s encouragement, a video was played which highlighted the glorious history of the institute and the vision and mission of this college.
After the video, Ayushi Mahanty, a student, 2nd Year, BBA, performed Bharatnatyam on a song which was inspired by the Shiv Strotam. The song’s lyrics effectively conveyed the emotions, and the impressive performance was enthusiastically applauded by the audience.
Following the dance, a video was played that highlighted the BBA Department’s vision and events.
Dr. Tridib Sengupta, the Course Coordinator of the BBA Department then took to the podium and spoke in length about the different Discipline Specific Electives in the department and the endless possibilities of this course. He introduced all the faculty of the BBA Department to the students who then took turns introducing themselves highlighting their core areas and expertise.
After this the Events Management Team introduced themselves and spoke about the Department’s very own National level Inter College Management fest, BONFIRE and the product fair REVEAL among others.
The event ended with a vote of appreciation to everyone who contributed to the event’s success. The students were then guided by the student volunteers to their respective classrooms and were handed out a food packet and a copy of the syllabus. They were also addressed by their respective class coordinators who briefed them regarding the course and rules and policies of the Department.
The volunteer team along with the Convenor of the event, Prof. Paridhi Agarwal did a great job at maintaining the decorum which led to the smooth flow of the event. With this, the Bhawanipur Education Society College’s BBA Department welcomed the Batch of 2025-2029 with great hopes and renewed enthusiasm.
A long & healthy lifespan is primarily dependent on one’s level of fitness and with this point of view, the Government of India conceived the idea of “FIT India” in 2019.
