The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a FIFA tournament on the 26th and 28th November 2022 at Jubilee Hall. Almost 70 students attended the event as 32 participants took part in 31 matches in a 5 round one on one knockouts style tournament which included the knockouts, round of 16, quarter finals, semifinals and finals.
With the college having already organised a few sports competitions this tournament was an opportunity for students across the college to be able to demonstrate their gaming talent. They simulated matches between some of the best teams with some of the best-known players from across the world. Moreover, the whole exercise was virtual.
The enthralling tournament was full of twists, turns and goals culminated with Md Faiz Ahmed as the winner, Aryan Jaiswal as the runner up and Zeddan Ali at 3rd place. The winners were felicitated by Prof. Dilip Shah, Dean of Student Affairs.
