The Bhawanipur Education Society College had organised a mutual funds workshop on 10th of May 2022 in the Society hall of the college campus, it commenced at 10:30 a.m. Founder and business head, Imperial Wealth, Mr. Niraj Kakkad was the speaker of the day, who has more than five years of working experience in the market of mutual funds. This workshop was curated with the aim to motivate students and decoding the importance of mutual funds.
Through a PowerPoint presentation he highlighted different points on how to lower risk in investments. He emphasized on students’ investments in mutual funds with a very small amount of funds and particularly to keep patience with the investments. He also spoke about systematic investment plan (SIP).
The Workshop had been an invaluable and enriching learning experience for students, they take away was to continue learning even after college.
The Department of Electronics organised a webinar on 28th of June, 2021 over Google Meet. The topic of deliverance was – Basic mathematical conceptions and misconceptions. The talk was delivered by Mr. Arkaprava Bhattacharjee, a London Mathematics Society member pursuing double majors in mathematics and applied statistics from The University of Alberta, Canada. Communique 2014 was an inter-college academic meet which allowed showcasing the talent of students in events like debate, extempore, quiz, etc. The event brought together students from various colleges like Shri Shikshayatan College, Ashutosh College, JDBI College, Goenka College, THK Jain College, Shyamaprasad College, Jagdish Chandra College, Dept of Law CU and many more.
The flyer was released in internet on 30th June 2021. The registration was free but mandatory. The college management provided the requisite support for the webinar. The webinar was approved by IQAC of the college. Registration was conducted through Google form. Total number of registered person was about 90. Total number of students and teachers …
