The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized Howzat’15, Teacher Students Cricket tournament on 18th of February 2015 at Vivekananda park( Southern Avenue). The initiative was taken to strengthen the bond between leaders and future leaders. Around twenty professors from different departments participated in the tournament. The event started at 9:00 AM highlighting the rules of the game followed by toss of the first participating teams.

At the end both the trophies were lifted by the Student’s teams i.e. Golden and Silver Trophy. The event came to an end with the felicitation of the winning teams and the best players of the tournament by the members of the governing body for the college. The best players of the tournament are as follows:-
The Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC) celebrated the Hindi Divas with full solemnity. Prof Vasundhara Mishra, renowned exponent of the National language set the tone of the event with her excellent deliberations, even as a hundred students sat mesmerized. The speech was followed by two recitations by students of the college.
