Umang 2014: Indipop
Indian pop music, often known as Indian-Pop, Hindi Pop, Indipop or Indi-pop, refers to pop music in India. It is based on an amalgamation of folk music andclassical music with modern beats from different parts of the world.
Umang 2014 hosted the event ‘Indipop’ which was judged by Siddharth Pathak and Kunal Saha. The event took place in the main stage. There were four participating teams. The second performance was remarkable. The guys at the vocals were wonderful and Amrit Kajaria, the drummer gave a really good performance. The songs were supposed to be sung in the mother tongue. The event ended with Dilip Sir felicitating the judges. It was a proud moment when our college bagged the first and the second prizes.
