Wondering what is written above? It’s “Hello”. Yes, it is binary language, the language of computer. Intelligence (Human) created it and intelligence (artificial) is needed to decipher it. On the 10th of January, the college had an intriguing webinar on Artificial Intelligence. Prof. Charanpreet Singh, the Director of Praxis Business School Foundation, and an Alumni of IIT was the key speaker for the event. The event student coordinator was Gaurav Killa. The webinar dealt with machine learning, how Artificial Intelligence affects the business world and how Artificial Intelligence is evolving day by day.
The webinar discussed opportunities in Artificial Intelligence, how Artificial Intelligence holds a major place in our future, where will we be standing once we have learnt AI. Mr. Singh also cleared doubts of the students, some of the questions asked were.
‘Till where AI is limited right now?’, to which he answered that AI is just in its development stage and will not take longer for it to grow and become a Super AI as stated by Elon Musk.
‘Shall jobs be lost once AI takes over?’, ‘Will AI be able to learn by itself and grow exponentially?’, ‘In future what will be the role left for us?’
