“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
Young people in their mid-20’s often make a common mistake – they chase money rather than chasing their passion. This decision roots from the very misconception that money is the only metric of success, when it is clearly not. The only true metric of success is happiness, like the saying suggests.
Providing a chance for the students to put their passion into use, The Bhawanipur Education Society College conducted it’s much awaited Placement Drive on the 6th of March, 2020. A total of 11 companies, namely, Erudite, Express Publications, Abira Securities Ltd., MyPlexus.com, Career Keeda, Vayuseva Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd., Comtel Consultants & Infraproject Pvt. Ltd., Corrub Industries, GlamDiva.in, Kishore Marketing Company, and Prudential Infotech Ltd. came in for campus recruitment. The event was coordinated by Ms. Divya P. Udeshi, from the Dean’s Office.
The drive started with Prof. Dilip Shah welcoming the companies to their campus and addressing the students about the positive effects of an internship on academics and the overall character development of an individual. Shortly after that, the representatives of the companies gave a brief introduction about their organizations, enabling the students to learn more about the organizations. Each student was allowed to appear for interview in any two of the above mentioned organizations. While all the companies opted for Personal Interview of the candidates, Career Keeda was the only company that conducted a Group Discussion round before the Personal Interviews. The drive began at 9 am and continued till 5 pm.
As many as 78 students registered themselves for the recruitment, out of which, more than 50 students were finally shortlisted by the companies. Thus, the Placement Drive was a success.
