The science department of the Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC) welcomed the freshers into its periodic table in a characteristically logical, manner- where ever action had a reaction equal and opposite in direction.
Prof Dilip Shah, the Dean of Student Affairs of the College initiated the proceedings with a rousing speech and declared the festivities open. And some festivities, they were. There were dramas, song and dance performances, which was set into motion by the obligatory dance recital that invoked divine blessings through the Ganesh Vandana.
DJ Navneet then took charge of the console, belting out one hit after the other forcing even the most scientific of the minds to take to the feet. Don’t ask me to explain the chemistry, but the result was electric, as the 400 students who had thronged into the venue pulsated in the Cauldron called BESC and were converted to BE-ites, for ever!
