The drive began with a marvelous speech by Prof. Dilip Shah, Dean of Students Affairs to address students about the importance of planting trees to keep the environment healthy, followed by felicitating Mr Ashim Basu, Councilor of Ward no. 70 & Navya Shyamosree for their support.
The student volunteers started cleaning the park to keep the environment clean and then planted 28 saplings and distributed 50 saplings. The students in the group of 3 went with handmade posters and spread awareness about global warming and its causes on the environment.
