Objective of the event: The Workshop was organized to facilitate the students with adequate knowledge and skill about writing an academic term paper, field report and seminar report as an essential component of the Tutorials under Calcutta University Examinations.
Brief description of the event: The Department of Political Science of The Bhawanipur Education Society College organised a Workshop on ‘Term Paper, Field Report and Seminar Report’, for the Political Science Major Students of Semesters I, III and V, in room number 530 of the college. Dr. Dona Ganguly, Assistant Professor, introduced and explained to the students the modalities of writing an academic Term Paper; Lopamudra Majumdar, Faculty, explained the students the essential components of writing a Seminar Report; Sohini Chattopadhyay, Faculty, explained the students the format of writing a Field Report. The Workshop concluded with answering students’queries to prepare them for the upcoming Tutorial Examinations.
Outcome of the event: The workshop was a huge success as students got a detailed idea about how to write Term Paper, Field Report and Seminar Report. Their doubts and queries were effectively addressed and resolved.
