We all have to speak in public from time to time, some do well, some badly, and the outcome strongly affects the way people think about us.
But the good news is that, with thorough preparation and practice, we can overcome our nervousness and perform exceptionally well. To help us do the same a workshop on “Public Speaking” was organised by Ms. Rupasree Biswas on the 20th of June, 2021 at 5pm.
The event began with an introduction of the speaker by the emcee of the event student coordinator Sarvesh Mundhra. Post which Ms. Rupasree Biswas went on to provide tips on public speaking under different situations, she with the help of her team members and a presentation explained to students, as to how they can improve their communication skill and she narrated a real-life story of her mother. This was followed by a question-and-answer session.
Post the session Prof. Dilip Shah spoke on the art of Public Speaking and the event ended with a vote of thanks by the emcee. The session was attended by about 80 students.
The Bhawanipur Education Society College has various Knowledge Circles known as Collectives in various verticals where the students are passionate. This helps in the development and growth of the students and provides them with exposure and opportunities.
