All B.Com./ B.A./ B.Sc./ BBA Semester I Students, admitted in the Academic Year 2022-23, are hereby informed that they are required to visit the college campus for confirmation / rectification of the data submitted by them during online registration process between Thursday, 3rd November 2022 to Monday, 7th November 2022.
The detailed schedule for the document submission along with the process to generate the data submission form is given in the link below.
Students must follow the process, carry the following documents & arrange the documents exactly in the same order as given below:
1. Take a Printout of Data Submitted to the College for Calcutta University Registration. (click here for the process to download the same). Print the form on A4 size, white coloured paper in portrait mode only. Both side printing is recommended to save paper.
2. Attach the following documents exactly in the same order with the Data form as printed by following the process as given in the point no 1 above. (Serial number 3 & 4 is applicable to all and Sr. No. 5 to 8 as applicable).
3. 1 Photocopy of Original Class XII Board Mark sheet (Net copy / Digi locker version will not be accepted).
4. 1 Photocopy of Original Class X Board Admit Card or Birth Certificate (Class X Admit Card/ Birth Certificate/ Certificate of Madhyamik or Equivalent Examination having Date of Birth mentioned in it).
5. Original Migration Certificate issued from the Board if not submitted to college earlier. (Applicable only to the students belonging to boards other than WBHSC, ISC, CBSE, and NIOS).
6. 1 Photocopy of Original SC/ST/OBC Certificate issued by Government of West Bengal (Required only if applied under SC/ST/OBC category).
7. Person with Disability (PWD) Certificate (Only applicable to the students who have applied under Physically Handicapped).
8. 1 Photocopy of Calcutta University Registration Certificate (only applicable to students registered with Calcutta University in the year 2021 or before).
Upon clicking on the above-mentioned link you are required to give your 10 Digit college UID number and the Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY format (You need to type / also) to check your details.
Please Note:
i) It is mandatory for students to write their Calcutta University Registration form number (starting with 017XXXX available in the link given above for the schedule or on the 2nd page of the downloaded/ printed registration data form) on the top right-hand side of each document as listed above i.e. from sr. no. 3 to 8, as applicable.
ii) It is mandatory to bring all the original documents of class X & XII to complete the data confirmation procedure.
iii) Request for any changes in the above-mentioned schedule will not be entertained under any circumstances.
iv) Incase if you face any technical issues while doing the above mentioned process, inform us the same via e-mail with the subject line “Calcutta University Registration Document submission issue” to cu.registration@thebges.edu.in. Please ensure to send the email from your Institutional email ID only.
The Admission Procedure is incomplete without doing the submission of above mentioned documents for Calcutta University Registration Process, failing which you will not be able to appear for any examinations under University of Calcutta.
