Objective of the event: The felicitation program was arranged by the Department to acknowledge the academic achievements of the outgoing 2022-2025 batch who scored first class in history honors. The students of current semester 1 who were part of the advanced learning program of the department were felicitated.
Brief description of the event: The program commenced with the outgoing students being awarded the gold medal recognising their outstanding academic achievement in securing first class in their university examination. The students of semester 1 who participated in the peer learning program of the department and presented lectures were also acknowledged and gifted certificates. The event’s purpose of encouraging students to undertake independent academic learning through its peer learning program was fulfilled with the students’ enthusiastic participation.
Outcome of the event: The felicitation program encouraged both current students and alumni and their academic efforts being recognised by the Department made them feel exhilarated.
