“Acting is behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances.” On 20th November, The Bhawanipur College organised a workshop for the Enact collective – SPOTLIGHT, for the first-year students.
The workshop began with a bunch of around 50 students with our mentors Mr. Apratim Chatterjee, Mr. Palash Chaturvedi and Mr. Subham Singh who had an interesting and entertaining introductory session with the students.
The very talented performers Ms. Satakshi Nandy and Mr. Arron Targain also came to guide the students. The workshop was interesting. There were many interactive sessions like polka dots – walking in the manner of the particular design and rollovers etc. The workshop ended at 12noon. The students felt that such workshops are a great boost to their skill and should be held more often.
Audition for the Theatre Festival, under the banner of Enact collective was held on 22nd and 23rd February 2022 for the students of 1st to 3rd year to be the part of the inter college Theatre Festival, to be held on 30th-31st March and 1st April 2022.
