Brief description of the event: The Department of Business Administration of The Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC), Kolkata, organized its much-anticipated intra-college product launch and marketing fair, Reveal’2025, on September 15, 2025, at Valia Hall.
The vision of REVEAL was given by our Late Director General Dr. Suman Kumar Mukerjee who also coined the term as an acronym. REVEAL stands for REACH, ENERGISE, VIRAL GIVEAWAY, EXCAVATE, ACHIEVE and LAUNCH. It is an intra college exhibition that provides a dynamic platform for students to showcase their innovative prototypes – whether the ideas are brand new or improved versions of already existing products. The Participants are given stalls where they exhibit and explain their ideas to the visitors after which they are put to vote. The stall with the greatest number of votes is declared the winner.
The inaugural Session was organized in Jubilee Hall and was inaugurated by Rector and Dean, Prof. Dilip Shah, Mr. Inderbir Singh Bhandari, along with Course Coordinator Dr. Tridib Sengupta. It began with a cultural performance by Ayushi Mahanty, student of the second year of BBA Department followed by an inspiring speech by Prof. Dilip Shah. The Emcee thanked the sponsors of the event after which Dr. Tridib Sengupta delivered a vote of thanks. He then invited all the dignitaries on stage who formally declared the commencement of the event. All Dignitaries, students and teachers proceeded to the Valia Hall for the ribbon cutting to open the Hall for visitors and guests. The fair featured 14 unique stalls, each presenting original, out-of-the-box ideas. These ventures ranged from technological concepts, such as the book-reading app model Pushtak, to creative products like the crochet stall Knots n Notes, and food items like the protein-packed Tehelka Kulfi made of whey protein to futuristic concepts like Ai-nstein’s Corner and an infrared enabled counting machine Numera to name a few. The event successfully drew a footfall of over 1400 visitors, fostering a highly interactive atmosphere of salesmanship and live marketing.
Outcome of the Event: Reveal’2025 proved to be more than a competition; it was a vibrant celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit of the students of BESC. It demonstrated the students’ ability to not just ideate, but to execute and market a product effectively.
