Objective of the event: The Department of Chemistry, The Bhawanipur Education Society College, organized a Two-Day International conference on Emerging Trends In Chemical Sciences Towards Sustainability & Interdisciplinarity (ETCSTSI – 2025), on January 10-11, 2025. The event brought together around 170 participants including Distinguished Delegates, Esteemed Faculty Members, Research Scholars and Students of different Institutes, Universities, Colleges and our college.
Brief description of the event: Event Overview The International Conference on “Emerging Trends in Chemical Sciences Towards Sustainability & Interdisciplinarity” (ETCSTSI – 2025) brought together eminent researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to discuss advancements in chemical sciences and their role in sustainability. The event focused on interdisciplinary approaches to answer modern scientific challenges and foster innovation in chemical research. The International Conference on Emerging Trends in Chemical Sciences Towards Sustainability & Interdisciplinarity (ETCSTSI – 2025), organized by the Department of Chemistry, The BES College, in collaboration with IPS and IQAC, Uluberia College, was held on January 10–11, 2025. The two-day event featured keynote addresses, invited lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions, covering topics such as nano-carbon applications, biomineralization, anticancer compounds, and sustainable development in chemistry. Eminent speakers shared insights on interdisciplinary approaches in chemical sciences. The conference concluded with an award distribution ceremony, recognizing young researchers for their contributions.
To inspire and motivate students, an Oral/Poster competition was arranged for UG/PG/Research Scholar/Faculty members. The award was sponsored by Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC),India and Engineered Science (ES) Publisher. The details of the winner in different competition judged by external Distinguish Judges are given below:
