Brief Description of the Activity The students from Semester II and IV of B.Com, along with four faculty members, left for a factory visit to the Dough As You Like factory on June 24, 2025. The industrial trip was organized to familiarize students with production, storage, distribution, etc. processes.
This visit provided an opportunity for the students to learn about the various types of cakes and savouries. They toured the entire production line – from the baking room to the packaging rooms – gaining valuable hands-on experience and understanding.
The students were introduced to the company’s product range, production technology, labelling, packaging, promotions, advertising, transportation, and sales.
Additionally, they learned about the company’s first innovative products, such as the blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu, launched in 2023. The visit was highly interactive and informative, offering practical insights aligned with current industry practices. This exposure will be beneficial in preparing them for the professional world.
The Department of English organized a PG Students’ Seminar on laughter and literature (From Jest to Depth: The Literary Tapestry of Laughter).
