Physics department arranged an invited talk in collaboration with IQAC and seminar/FDP/Workshop Committee which was delivered by Dr. Upendranath Nandi, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Scottish Church College, Kolkata. The title of the talk was: Electrical Transport in Disorder System: A Journey from Macro to Nano World. The talk was arranged in room number 426 at 12.15 p.m. on 21.11.2022.
Dr. Arnab Gangopadhyay of Department of Physics (The B.E.S. College) introduced Dr. Nandi with the audience present in the room.
Number of teachers and students attending the seminar was 13 and 68 respectively. Students and teachers from different science streams like Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry attended this talk and they were enlightened about the different aspects of Nanoscience and Nanomaterials covering several experimental and theoretical domains of Nanophysics. A very informative and motivational description and analysis of this topic delivered by Dr. Nandi encouraged the students for further study and research review in Nanomaterials and Nanoscience guided by the concepts of Nanophysics.
Dr. Pinki Saha Sardar, Vice Principal of science gave the vote of thanks to management, Teacher-in-Charge, Dean of Science for their constant support to make this event a success.
