To provide career guidance and support to its students, The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized a ‘Career Cafe’ on September 29th and 30th 2023, at the Valia Hall from 12 noon till 5 pm. This event marked a significant milestone, as it took place after 3 years. The success of the event was evident with the participation of about 20 institutions, making it the “talk of the town”. The Career Cafe offered students a platform for networking, skill development, and job placement opportunities, reinforcing the college’s commitment to preparing its students for successful careers. Notable members like Mr. Jayant Palan, of GMRI, Vice-President of CMA, Mr. Subhasish Chakraborty, and many more walked the halls imparting knowledge and sharing their wisdom.
Participation was open to all academic students from different colleges and universities. School students were seen taking an active part in gathering complete knowledge about their future career choices. Members from the management Mrs. Nalini Parekh & Mrs. Ameeta Patel, inaugurated Career Cafe 2023, marking its return after a three-year break. Notable institutions like Bhawanipur School of Event Management (BSEM), BDA, DEFENCE, ICFAI, Educrat, Moople, Global Reach, Erudite, NIHT, GRM Institute, PIBM, ICMAI, SSEI, IMS, IIHM, IDP, DataSpace Security, Lakme & CAREER CONNECT courses participated in this event. For attendees seeking in-depth information about the courses offered by these institutions, valuable seminars were conducted in the Society Hall of the campus. The college set up 20 stalls, guiding the generation towards a clear path for their promising careers.
The Career Cafe was skillfully built to make sure the attendees had an opportunity to explore different horizons. Career Cafe 2023 featured a diverse array of educational and career options, including CMA, CFA, UPSC, CMA (US), Hotel Management, CAT, Digital Marketing, Study Abroad, Risk Management, Animation, Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking, MBA, and Employment Courses. Additionally, students could explore opportunities in fields like Makeup and avail guidance for MBA admissions, as well as TOEFL/IELTS preparation, straight from the global partners who conduct these exams in India. There were more than 12 Seminars held at the Society Hall over two days, where students were given opportunities to understand various Career options even better.
In short, this two-day packed event had a footfall of more than 800 students who witnessed a platform to discover various career opportunities and educational prospects by being provided mentorship under the best institutes, all under one roof! The entire team of BESC SETU Collective worked diligently to make this three-year wait a grand success. The event concluded with the promise of yet another thriving Career Cafe for the next year.
