6. Objective of the Activity: To provide valuable experiential learning opportunities to the students of the Science Section.

Brief Description of the Activity: The Seminar / FDP / Workshop Committee of the Science Section of The Bhawanipur Education Society College, in collaboration with the IQAC of the college and in association with Ummeed Counseling & Consulting Services successfully organized an Interactive Experiential Learning Workshop on the 2nd of May, 2024. Mrs. Salony Priya, the Founder & Director of Ummeed Counseling & Consultancy Services, graced the event as the resource person. The event began promptly at 11:30 a.m. with a warm welcome extended to Mrs. Salony Priya and all the participating students by Dr. Pinki Saha Sardar, Vice-Principal (Science). Mrs. Priya initiated the workshop with an engaging ice-breaking session that encouraged interaction among the students, setting a comfortable and conducive atmosphere for learning. The workshop’s agenda encompassed various interactive and experiential learning activities designed to enhance the students’ skills and knowledge in their respective fields of study. Mrs. Priya’s expertise and engaging communication skill captivated students’ attention throughout the session. Her insightful presentations, coupled with hands-on activities, made the learning experience both enriching and enjoyable. One of the highlights of the workshop was a group activity where students were divided into teams and tasked with solving real-world problems related to their academic disciplines. This activity promoted teamwork, critical thinking, and practical application of theoretical concepts. The workshop concluded with a feedback session where students shared their thoughts and experiences about the event. The overwhelming response was positive, with students expressing gratitude for the opportunity to participate in such a valuable learning experience.
8. Outcome of the Activity: The Interactive Experiential Learning Workshop organized by The Bhawanipur Education Society College’s Science Section and Ummeed Counseling & Consulting Services was a resounding success. It not only provided students with practical insights and skills but also fostered a spirit of collaboration and innovation. Such initiatives play a crucial role in helping to manage adolescence issues thereby preparing students for future challenges in their academic and professional journeys.
