On 17th August, a packed auditorium of enthusiastic students gathered at the concept Hall at 6th Floor, for a workshop on Alternative career options for commerce students.
The programme started with the welcome address where the keynote speaker Mr. Aswini Bajaj and a delegation from ACCA were welcomed by Prof. Vijay Kothari. The students were exhilarated by the speech of Aswini Bajaj, who is a CA, CS, CFA, FRM and he is pursuing his PhD. He mentioned various nuances of alternate career options, and he compared various courses and helped students understand the prudence of various options available to them. After the speech, students moved into a question and answer session, where queries of various students were solved. In the second part of the session, a delegation from ACCA, briefed us about the Memorandum of Understanding signed between The Bhawanipur Education Society College and ACCA was announced and students were given details about a dual degree in B.com and ACCA in two years. Over 100 Students registered for the ACCA programme. The event was efficiently managed by Shashank Agarwal and Sougat Chowdhary and was a great success

On 7th * 8th September 2015, The Department of Games and Sports, conducted an Intra College Single’s Badminton Tournament at Y.M.C.A. (Chowringhee Branch) Kolkata. 263 boys and 97 girls participated in the tournament. The Tournament was held on knockout basis and was also the selection’s for the College Badminton Team 2015-16.
He passed away in 1994. Yet, the melodies that he bequeathed, lingers to haunt a Nation, is hummed by bitter foes across borders and continues to be one of the most potent weapons in India’s arsenal as she tries to diplomatically push the boundaries of her sphere of influence.
