To enlighten students on the importance of joy, emotional strength, and resilience, The Bhawanipur Education Society College hosted a seminar titled ‘Clarity for Joy, Emotional Strength & Resilience’ on September 11, 2025, from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at the Concept Hall of the college campus, with more than 100 students and faculty members present. The seminar was engaging, with various interactive activities and surveys. Topics such as stress-inducing pressures, taking happiness for granted, and living life like a project deadline were explored. The session encouraged students to give equal importance to every aspect of their lives and not get stuck in the rat race.
The seminar was conducted by Mr. Anindo Ghosh, founder of Atmadhruti, an organisation that endeavours to empower individuals to build resilience and harmony within themselves and with the world around them. He is also a well-known consultant, certified life and resilience coach, and motivational speaker. The seminar began with a quick introduction by the anchor. Following this, the Rector and Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dilip Shah, was invited to share a few words. He shed light on work-life balance, IQ, and EQ, emphasising that all of these are sometimes more important than academics. He concluded his speech with a haunting line: “Zindagi se badi koi saza hi nahi hoti, kya zulm hai pata hi nahi, itne hisse mein bat gaya hoon main, ki mere hisse mein kuch bacha hi nahi.”
Distinguished members of Atmadhruti were also present. As a life-planning organisation, they are committed to helping people achieve balance across their personal and professional lives. After the speech, the keynote speaker, Mr. Anindo Ghosh, began interacting with the students. He engaged them in an activity involving anonymous messages about fear, written on unnamed chits. This was followed by a guided meditation, where everyone closed their eyes and allowed their thoughts to flow freely.
He then elaborated on the difference between IQ and EQ, explaining that EQ benefits both personal and professional lives, can be developed through practice and self-reflection, and is not about suppressing emotions but using them constructively. He went on to introduce the “CLARITY” framework to the students, which stands for Continuous Learning, Analyse, Reflect, Initiate, Track with precision, and Yield higher results.
The seminar was successful in making students reflect on various aspects of their lives and take constructive action to improve the quality of both their personal and professional lives.
