A one-day workshop on “AI for Everyone” based on the Calcutta University (CU) Semester- II CCF syllabus was held on April 25, 2024 by the Department of Chemistry in association with The IQAC, The Bhawanipur Education Society College, and in collaboration with Seminar/FDP/workshop Committee, Science Section, and Physical Chemistry Teachers Forum (PCTF ). 34 external Teachers from various undergraduate Colleges under University Calcutta attended this successful workshop. The aim of the workshop was to discuss the syllabus, content for teaching and probable question answer pattern for Semester-II students under CCF curriculum to the Chemistry Fraternity where the Advance Computer based topic is less popular and discussed.
The distinguished Resource persons were, namely, Mr. Akash Mehta(Computer Science Department, The BESC), Dr. Priyatosh Dutta( Chemistry Department, Anandamohan College) and Dr. Rahul Sharma(Chemistry Department, St. Xavier’s College).
The attendees liked and actively participated in the Question-Answer period that ended the session. Prof. Ambikesh Mahapatra, Convener, PCTF, gave a vote of gratitude to conclude the full day’s program, and certificates were distributed.
