The Bhawanipur Entrepreneurship and Start-up Training Collective had Organised an Orientation to Entrepreneurship workshop with the goal of motivating students, to have a better understanding of their entrepreneurial personality, changing self-concept and values with the help of self-study and creating the supportive entrepreneurial behaviour arc. The workshop was segmented for four days from 1st June,2022 to 4th June ,2022 at the society hall of the college campus from 12noon onwards.
The orientation was inaugurated by Prof. Dilip Shah, the Dean of Student Affairs and only because of his unswerving enthusiasm this workshop was possible. The speakers on the different days were Mr. Sanjiv Kothari, the chairman council of micro small medium enterprises on day 1. He spoke to the audience about the production, manufacturing, processing and preservation of goods and commodities. Mr. Smarajit Mitra, the chairman council of skill development and start-ups in the merchant chamber of commerce and industry on day 2. He made sure to guide everyone about different government schemes to support start-ups and the techniques to minimise the impact on start-ups. Mr. Sumangal Puglia, the founder of Pacific Designs on day 3, discussed the framing of B-plans and branding of different start-ups. Ms. Nidhi Agarwal, the vice president of all India Toy Manufacturer Associations on day 4, talked about the women’s entrepreneurship to organise and operate the enterprise and undertake risks and handle economic uncertainty involved in running it.
The members of BEST collective were really motivated and energized after attending the session and expressed their interest in studying further into the small business initiatives.
