Fashion is a popular aesthetic expression most noteworthy; it is something that is in vogue. The Bhawanipur Education Society College in Collaboration with Lakme Academy organised a Fashion workshop on the 12th of May 2022 in Jubilee Hall. The workshop was divided into three different segments i.e. saree draping, hairstyling and makeup respectively
The workshop commenced at 12noon with an introductory speech by Ms. Ishita Mukherjee and Ms. Ruchi Singh, certified Fashion designers from the Lakme Academy. They spoke and practically explained the different draping style such as cocktail style, Traditional style, and the Bengali style. Students enjoyed and actively participated, making the event a grand success.
From 2pm onwards we move on the hairstyling segment where Ms. Anusha Agarwal and Ms. Harshita Bassi give a brief explanation about hair care and taught different hair styles such as waterfall matte, town curler and messy bun and thereafter, there was a question answer round where in students were given a chance to clear their doubts and were noting different tips given by the instructors.
And, then we moved on to the makeup workshop, who’s instructors were Ms. Anshi Barnwal and Ms. Sandhya Biswakarma they spoke to us about skin therapy and explained about various makeup products and appliances.
The workshop had been an invaluable and enriching learning experience for the students ahead of the inter college fest Illmaisu.
